 Currently there are Ford and Lincoln Mercury dealerships who need Ford Credentialed Technicians to fill entry-level positions each year. In their commitment to provide a well trained credentialed workforce, Ford Motor Company has teamed up with Universal Technical Institute (UTI), to create the Ford Accelerated Credential Training (FACT) elective.
The FACT elective at UTI campuses is an intensive fifteen weeks of Ford Accelerated Credential Training. This automotive technician program encompasses Ford's STST (Service Technician Specialty Training). The FACT elective can be added to many of UTI's core automotive and automotive/diesel programs.
The 15-week FACT elective can be combined with any of UTI's Automotive/ Diesel programs, which can be completed in as little as 66 weeks.
At UTI campuses, the Automotive program also contains the Power & Performance courses that include both Hot Rod U and Super Street curriculum.
The FACT elective is also available with a 42-week core automotive technology program at NASCAR Technical Institute in Mooresville, NC, and can be completed in as little as 57 weeks. If you're taking the Automotive/ FACT program at NTI, you can also add the NASCAR elective courses to your program and complete all of this training in as little as 75 weeks:
